Quick Resume: Hi, My name is Andy Fling. I am a state certified K-12 Music Teacher here in AZ, and have been teaching music lessons on piano, clarinet and trumpet for 15 years. I continue to enjoy it very much.
I am a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Theory and Composition, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certitification in K-12 Music Education. In 1992 I began teaching music at a Christian school, and an excitement for teaching kids and music education began. After teaching general music, band and choir to thousands of elementary aged kids in Christian and Public Schools, as well as offering private music lessons for fifteen years, my excitement for teaching music to kids is stronger than ever. I currently offer instruction to a studio full of private music students, offer free weekly music classes to homeschooled students, and maintain a free music resource website - MakingMusicFun.net - an elementary music resource website, jam packed with colorful and engaging free resources to enrich the elementary student’s music making experience.
