| Quick Resume: Executive Director David Sankus has been teaching in the bay area for over 20 years. He earned a B.A. in music percussion from SJSU, a Masters Degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. David’s performance history includes performing with the Scorpions, San Jose Symphony, Monterey Symphony, as well as the California Symphony. He has toured nationally and internationally with performing competitive units, such as the Santa Clara Vanguard, and Concord Blue Devils. David is one of the Bay Area renowned musical arrangers for concert and marching percussion. His work has won countless awards for outstanding musical performances. David not only arranges award winning music for local marching bands, but it is some of his original pieces that have achieved the highest awards given. David has spent the past 20 years working with local Jr. High and High School Marching Bands, and Youth Symphonies. This experience is what David has built his reputation on. |
