Objective To instruct percussion students and percussion ensembles to achieve superior performance awards at solo and ensemble contests and earn chairs in All-Region and All-State Band competitions while preparing auditions for scholarships at institutions of higher education and armed forces auditions.
Education MA in Humanities, The University of Texas at Arlington- the completion of a work in progress to be completed by the end of the year, 2007.

B.A. in Music, University of North Texas
Goals As a teacher, I hope to inspire imagination and creativity while instilling the concept of performing at the highest level each time a work is performed.
Instruction Concert and rudimental snare drumming techniques, mallets, timpani, drum set, drum line, and hand drumming.
Effects Previous students received superior and excellent ratings at UIL Solo and Ensemble Contests, earned chairs in All-City, All-Region, and All-State auditions, and received acceptance to institutions of higher education and music scholarships.
Performance
Percussionist for professional tours of the continental USA, Canada, Alaska, Europe, Asia, and Caribbean. Performed for President George W. Bush, four star generals, and U.S. Ambassadors. Passport current.
Studio Performance
Recorded CD’s, demos, and radio and television shows. Artists include Tom Wopat (TV star of The Dukes of Hazard), Ray Wylie Hubbard, Point Blank, and Kevin Deal. TV shows include Good Morning Texas (ABC) and The Great American Roadhouse (GAC).
Experience Since 1992, I maintained a private lesson studio at 5A High Schools such as Garland HS, Allen, HS, Irving HS and MacArthur HS in Irving, South Grand Prairie HS and the Arlington ISD

2003-2004 Manager of the Sheet Music Department at Brook Mays Music in Southlake, TX
2001-2003 Adjunct Faculty- Directed the percussion ensembles, marching drum line, and taught applied lessons at Navarro College in Corsicana, TX
1999-2002 Private lessons and percussion classes at MARS Music, Plano, TX
