Quick Resume: Michael Johnston has been playing in competitions and performing on the bagpipes since 1995. He performs at many events each year including weddings, birthday parties, retirement parties, graduation ceremonies, awards ceremonies, highland games, farmers' markets, whisky tastings, Burns dinners, dances, school programs, parades, funerals, and memorial services.
Michael is a founding member and Pipe Major of the River City Pipe Band in Portland, OR. He also competes in grade 3 in several of the northwest highland games and at the Oregon Pipers' Society gatherings.
