| Quick Resume: Mikael Jacobson has played bass for 25 years. Symphonically he has played in orchestras in Switzerland, Austria and across California. Currently, he is a member of the Coachella Valley Symphony and his playing can be heard on KOCH records. As an Electric Bassist, Mikael performs regularly with his Country/Rock n' Roll outfit, The Hot Rods, who have released two CDs on Audio Grande Records.
As a composer/keyboardist, Mikael has scored feature films, shorts, documentaries, animated network series and national commercials.
Having taught for over 10 years, Mikael brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. He emphasizes technique and aims to establish correct practice habits in his students---that ultimately they may become their own teachers.
