| Quick Resume: Mrs. Tresko has received certification as a flute instructor for very young students (age 4-5) to high school level by the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She also is credentialed to teach the Kodaly Approach to Music Education, a sequential approach for teaching music in grades K-6 building one musical concept upon another. She incorporates much of this step-by-step approach to sight-singing/reading in her flute pedagogy. She also teaches pennywhistle and/or fife as a precursor to formal instrumental training. Mrs. Tresko is a registered Music Together teacher, and taught classes for newborns through age 4 and their parents locally for 2 years. |
