Quick Resume: A 1985 graduate of Western Illinois University, Scott's BA degrees are in Music Education, Percussion Performance, Theory and Composition, and Electronic Music Synthesis. Scott's an energetic member of the Vic Firth Percussion Education Team, an active recording artist/clinician, and an endorser of Alternate Mode electronic percussion. The Recording Studio is his "second home" composing music for many broadcast commercial, CD, television, and film projects, as well as many different High School Marching Percussion ensembles and Drum Corps throughout the USA. Other teaching duties include serving as the percussion coordinator for Davenport Central High School's nationally recognized percussion program. Scott teaches all techinque aspects and levels of percussion including snare drum, keyboard/mallets (Stevens & Burton grips), concert timpani, ethnic hand percussion, drumset, electronic percussion programming, and advanced rudimental drumming.
